Medals, cash prizes and Armscor products like Tanfolio pistols will go to the top male and female finishers in each category.

The best female finisher in the 21K will get a .22 caliber pink pistol, while the top male runner will get a .22 caliber black pistol. The 10K and 5K winners will have Armscor airsoft rifles and pistols, aside from the cash prizes.

Non-podium winners can also look forward to the raffle prizes, which will include two Zongshen motorcycles. Other products to be raffled off are personal audio products, cellular phones from JV Shop, gift certificates for an overnight stay at the Cebu City Marriott Hotel and Cebu Parklane Hotel.

Armscor might also be giving a .45 caliber or 9mm pistol for the grand raffle prize
for all participants to have a chance to win.

Night Race for the Flood Victims: I Ran My Part 2012 on August 25, 2012

RUN for Sight Chairman Doctor Potenciano “Yong” Larrazabal III is appealing to runners to take part in the Night Race for the Flood Victims this Saturday at 8 pm, at the Cebu Doctors University Grounds.

Registration is P300 for both 3K and 6K categories and runners can still sign up at Run for Sight Headquarters at CDUH. Organizers will also welcome walk-in participants an hour before the race.

A turnover of proceeds to the Luzon flood victims will follow right away after the benefit run with the presence Leo Lastimosa, who will represent the ABS-CBN Kapamilya Foundation.

The best finishers in each category will be awarded with gift certificates but no cash prizes will be given.

“We try to minimize the cost to maximize the results,” Larrazabal added.
