Ironman 70.3 Philippines in Cebu on Aug. 5, 2012

An estimated 5,000 people (local and foreign athletes and spectators) are expected to gather in Lapu-lapu City, Cebu on August 5, 2012 to join in on the fun that is Cobra Energy Drink Ironman 70.3.

Shangri-la Mactan Resort and Spa has been chosen as the starting and end point of the competition.

3k, 6k - Php 300 for SHS-ADC Community members, Php350 for non-SHS-ADC members
16k - Php 400

New Balance Run Series Cebu Leg on July 8, 2012

Halad Dagan Sa Buhisan Alang Kang Sr. Sto Nino on July 1, 2012

Corporate Contingent Run (15.5k)- start at the Basilica and will finish at Cebu Grand Hotel grounds

Technical Course
- 15.5K technical run that will start at the Basilica’s Pilgrim Center to the Basilica through Osmena Boulevard past Fuente Osmena, to Capitol, to M. Velez, turn right to V. Rama Avenue, go around to Guadalupe Church, towards spillway, ending up at the Toong Barangay Hall for the finish.
- This is the first time that the route will be used for a running competition. It will have punishing climbs but rewarding views.
- The terrain will be difficult but it will have a scenic view with thick forest foliage and mountain ranges. It’s route is basically a mix of concrete, asphalt and dirt. The elevation has a maximum of 748 feet above sea level.

Prizes: The race will award the top 10 in the men’s and women’s division

36th National Milo Marathon on Oct. 7, 2012

For every runner who joins the National MILO® Marathon, a portion of the registration fee will be allotted to the advocacy of given thousands of MILO® running shoes to underprivileged children. And the money raised will be used to produce running shoes that will be donated to different public schools selected by the Department of Education in the areas where the 35th National MILO® Marathon will be held.
